Во второй части устного экзамена PET Speaking part 2 проверяются Ваши коммуникативные навыки, поэтому, на мой взгляд, она является самой сложной из четырех: Вы работаете в паре, должны использовать правильную лексику и Вам с собеседником нужно придти к единому мнению.
EXPECTATION AND REALITY
Все вышесказанное часто упоминается в пособиях по подготовке, но в действительности самым сложным в этой части (и это относится и к FCE, и к CAE, и к CPE) являются ответы партнера. Пол беды, если он зная язык лучше Вас использует не известную вам лексику, но что Вы будете делать если он просто говорит то, что не соответствует задаче в целом? Как быть, ведь Вам нужно не только предлагать свои варианты, но и комментировать ответы партнера?
В представленных Cambridge Assessment Organisation видео партнеры обычно примерно одного уровня, но не стоит на это рассчитывать сдавая экзамен, например, от языковой школы в России, ведь это не тот случай когда Ваш репетитор оценивает Вашу готовность к экзамену и дает прогноз на успешную сдачу. В языковых школах порядок иной; работая в группе студенты часто отличаются уровнем знаний, кто-то посещает занятия регулярно, а кто-то пропускает, кто-то усваивает программу быстрее, а кто-то медленнее, об индивидуальном подходе речи не идет, но на экзамен все выйдут в экзаменационную сессию по окончании курса и поэтому высока вероятность большого разрыва в уровне знаний.
Итак, как выйти из ситуации, когда собеседник высказал предложение, которому сложно дать комментарий?
